WHo Even Is That Anyway?

Hi, I’m Jenna!

A 26 year old Connecticut based photographer and journalist. I dabble in a lot of different artistic mediums, however, my main love affair has always been with film photography. I am interested most in the intersection of past and present photographic technology and how to incorporate that into abstract portraiture. Some of these mediums include 19th century wet plate photography techniques, 120/620 film, 35mm, 8mm film, and more. I have had the opportunity to meet many people in the small, but still thriving, antique and analog film community. Each and every one of them has had an influence on my work. Many of my “portraits” aim to touch on a feeling of nostalgia, connection, and the authenticity of an isolated moment. Recently, I have taken a step back from career work in a more corporate setting to pursue my artistic passions. I hope to use that new found time to work with many other like minded artists to expand my projects scope and impact.

Thank you for being here.
